I design and build eLearning for regulated, high-stakes environments — the UK Civil Service, high street banks, multinational employers and the Fire Service College. I have worked in instructional design since 2017, on the back of a training career that moved fully online in 2013. Alongside the courses themselves, I build the AI-assisted tooling that takes the manual grind out of publishing them: automated captioning, SCORM package repair, and language switching for multilingual courses.

Learning Content Designer
- Design and build eLearning and training materials for clients across financial services, multinational business and the UK Civil Service, working in Articulate Storyline, Rise and Evolve
- Built a suite of internal web applications using AI-assisted development (Claude Code) to automate post-publication SCORM work — package-wide text search, post-publish content fixes, and language selectors for multilingual courses — cutting tasks that took 10–15 minutes of manual editing down to seconds
- Produce captions and transcripts as a standard part of content delivery, using an automated speech-to-text and forced-alignment pipeline to caption training video at volume
- Delivered eLearning for the Fire Service College in Articulate Rise, working closely with learning experience designers, graphic designers and the QA team
Learning Content Designer
- Specialised in the design and development of eLearning content for the Coaching Professional Level 5, Improvement Practitioner Level 4 and CPAS Level 4 programmes
- Took over the programmes mid-build from a predecessor, maintaining content consistency and establishing working relationships with the subject matter experts
- Enhanced interactivity and intellectual challenge in courses, bolstering learner engagement and comprehension
- Integrated the ChatGPT API into Storyline to drive adaptive feedback and interactive chatbot scenarios
Curriculum Lead
- Led the design and implementation of eLearning curricula for apprenticeship training programmes, including Policy Officer Level 4 and Coaching Professional Level 5
- Authored comprehensive learner journey documents, assessment materials and training plans, and mapped learning objectives to individual programmes
- Embedded accessibility from the outset — transcripts, captions and screen-reader-ready content — rather than retrofitting it at QA
Instructional Designer
- Developed online learning activities on the Thinking Cap LMS using the eXact authoring tool, working directly with subject matter experts including Nik Peachey
- Coordinated delivery with distributed team members across multiple countries and time zones
